Independent Intentions

A two-channel video installation, 9 min. 2023

A narcissistic art collector visits a young artist in her studio in Oslo. The winter studio of Edvard Munch. Trying to persuade her in joining a collaboration that could take them around the world. The main content of the narrative follows the three phases of a narcissists working model.

1. The idealization phase
2. The downgrading phase
3. The dumping phase.

The scenography is mixed media drawings made during a residency in the same studio in October 2022 with the idea that they should represent a young artist and be the backdrop of the shortfilm. They are presented together with the videoinstallation.
